Effective 1 April 2009Steadily increasing UPS and USPS rates have forced us to begin charging shipping costs for non-warranty repairs. Actual shipping charges will be added to the cost of repairs. Weight and distance of shipments are the determining factors. Typical domestic shipping charge for a PH Pro System Box is $8 to $10, a Pro Cab is $6 to $8. Decoders are still $2. International postage is usually 50% higher.

Repairs covered under warranty will still be shipped at our expense.

It is always worth a call to the Warranty Center before you send a product back to us. Many times we can talk you through the problem and straighten it out without the need to send a product to us.

Rates for Common Repairs
No questions asked replacement of an N or HO sized decoder - $10.00 each
No questions asked replacement of a 4 Amp decoder - $25.00 each
No questions asked replacement of an 8 Amp decoder - $35.00 each

Repair of broken LCD glass on Pro Cab or Power Cab - $25.00
PB105 Booster board replacement/repair due to over voltage (>18 Volts) input
or DC voltage fed back in to the booster output - $60.00
Power Cab replacement/repair due to over voltage or prolonged shorts to the system - $30.00

Replacement backs including battery door for the Pro/Power Cabs are available for $10.00 US. Intermediate Cab (Cab 04/05) back including battery door are $8.00.

Warranty Repair Notice
When returning a product for warranty repair or replacement be sure to include your name, address, phone number and a brief note describing the problem along with the product.
